AdBlue® Safety Information

AdBlue® does not contain any dangerous substances according to European Union norms. It is classified in the minimum risk category of portable liquids. However, the safety precautions applied to chemicals must be observed.

Keep away from children.
Do not contact with foodstuffs and beverages.
In case of drinking, consult a doctor.
In case of contact with skin and eyes, wash with plenty of water and consult a doctor.
It should be stored at (-) 11°C to (+) 32°C.
Protect from sunlight.

Is AdBlue Corrosive?

AdBlue® is non-toxic and does not pose any risk to humans, animals or the environment if used properly. The product is partially alkaline with a pH of about 9.0 and therefore should not come into direct contact with aluminium, brass, mild steel. Stainless Steel and Plastic tanks and fittings are mandatory in accordance with AUS32. Prolonged contact with skin may cause irritation.
