AdBlue® Quality

It is important to refer to the high quality of AdBlue®. The use of an additive that does not meet the requirements of DIN 70070 / ISO 22241-1 causes various problems, starting from high exhaust emissions to wholesale destruction of the catalyst. At the same time, since the exhaust fumes cannot be removed from the catalyst in a timely manner, it can cause various engine problems due to the pressure of these fumes. This is due to poor quality AdBlue®, which reduces the size of the catalyst pores inside and renders its catalytic elements inoperable.

  • Frozen AdBlue® Density Approx. 1.03 g/cm3
  • Thermal Conductivity Capability Top Floating Compatibility AdBlue Melting Point (T, m)
  • Approx. 0.5 70 W/m K at 25 °C Minimum 65 mN/m at 20 °C T[°C]
  • AdBlue®, a high-purity NOx-reducing agent for diesel engines equipped with SCR technology, meets the quality requirements set in the German norm DIN 70070.
