AdBlue Quality

It is important to refer to the high quality of AdBlue. The use of an additive that does not meet the requirements of DIN 70070 / ISO 22241-1 causes various problems, starting from high exhaust emissions to wholesale destruction of the catalyst. At the same time, since the exhaust fumes cannot be removed from the catalyst in a timely manner, it can cause various engine problems due to the pressure of these fumes. This is due to poor quality AdBlue, which reduces the size of the catalyst pores inside and renders its catalytic elements inoperable.

  • Frozen AdBlue® Density Approx. 1.03 g/cm3
  • Thermal Conductivity Capability Top Floating Compatibility AdBlue Melting Point (T, m)
  • Approx. 0.5 70 W/m K at 25 °C Minimum 65 mN/m at 20 °C T[°C]
  • AdBlue, a high-purity NOx-reducing agent for diesel engines equipped with SCR technology, meets the quality requirements set in the German norm DIN 70070.
